Bearing Farms is a multi-generational family rice farm located in the Central American country of Panama with a focus on the sustainable production of quality rice.
Jim Jacobsen, an American entrepreneur has partnered up with the De Leon Family to form Bearing Farms. The De Leon Family, headed up by Mr. Julio De Leon, has been producing rice for over 25 years and is assisted by his son, Rodolfo De Leon and daughter, Annabelle De Leon.
Together, Bearing Farms maintains over 1,000 hectares of rice production, annually.
